In February 2021 Trust Chair, Jane Wild, and David Reeves, Deputy Chair, were interviewed by editor Helen Heath for the LIANZA journal.
Besides presentation to the library community of the 2020 inscriptions, Jane and David were able to explain the purpose of Memory of the World, describe the process and promote the Register to a wider number of documentary heritage institutions than those large and national. The article in Library Life 483 can be viewed here.
The article is one of a number of communications initiatives around the 2020 registrations function held on 9 March 2021. Posters of the five new inscriptions will appear in the Archives and Records Association of New Zealand (ARANZ) journal Archifacts, along with newspaper articles such as that published in The Dominion Post on 20 April 2021, an interview with Alexander Turnbull Library curator Seán McMahon about the Robin Hyde papers and inscription.
