A crowd of well-wishers attended the Wellington inscription event in the National Library’s auditorium on Thursday, 10 October. Four inscriptions were recognised. Three certificates were presented to the Alexander Turnbull Library and Ngā Taonga Sound and Vision.
A fourth, for the Janet Frame Papers at the Hocken Collections, was presented earlier in Dunedin. And two certificates were presented at Whanganui the following day (see separate News item).
UNESCO Memory of the World was pleased to include a presentation by Tanya Black of UNESCO Wellington City of Film.
